We encourage customers to report adverts or videos that they believe are misleading; these are reviewed by our Risk and Compliance team and appropriate action is taken. This may include removal of the advert that fails to meet these conditions.
Examples of this may include misleading consumers about the vehicle or price in the advert by:
- Including a finance, lease, or hire price in the overall vehicle price
- Including a financial promotion anywhere in the advert such as Attention grabber, vehicle images, vehicle description
- Advertising a non-existent vehicle or one that has been recently sold to attract consumers
