The high intent badge identifies customers who've shown strong buying signals on an advert.
We analyse buyer behaviour for confirmed sales on Autotrader to pinpoint the actions that are the best predictors of someone going on to buy a vehicle. For example, return visits to the advert, total time spent and whether they've reserved the vehicle.
When the customer submits the deal, we analyse their activity on the advert for the previous seven days to see if they're 'high intent'.
Our data shows that high intent buyers are twice as likely to buy compared to those who aren't classed that way.
