Adding a CarMoney application to the deal in Portal
-
Once you’ve spoken to a consumer and have collected all the required information, the lenders available will be presented in Portal.
-
If none of your other lenders are available, CarMoney could be available to the consumer at this time
-
The consumer may not know the name CarMoney or what a broker is, so we’ve added a small description of what a broker is. The aim is to help you describe CarMoney so it's simple for the consumer to understand.
- When adding finance through CarMoney to the deal, Portal will ask you to read a statement about the consumer's data. This is different compared to when you apply to a main lender, due to the difference in how data is processed.
What happens next?
- CarMoney will contact you throughout the process and there will be the opportunity to speak to them.
- When an application does go through with CarMoney, treat it as any other person buying a vehicle on finance. There should be less work for you, not more.
- CarMoney will contact the consumer throughout the process. They will help the consumer understand all the steps and how to complete the transaction.
- If you would like CarMoney to take a less active role throughout the process, you can let them know when a consumer applies
Please Note:
-
Not every consumer can use CarMoney. They work with a panel of lenders. So there may be times when the consumer falls outside the lending criteria.
-
If the application is accepted, and the consumer finances the car through CarMoney, you will get a commission.
