Chat Assist is a service that manages live chat messages received outside of business hours. The service is operated by LivePerson Automotive who work on converting the conversation into a qualified lead.
The service will start at 6pm and will remain in operation till 9am. You can log in to the answering app whilst the chat assist service is in operation and answer chats. If you don't respond within 30 seconds, the contact centre will pick these up.
When a lead gets generated, it is emailed to the named person at your dealership who needs to act upon it.
