In Portal, you can alter or add finance to a deal.
You can change a customer's quote with the built-in brokering system in Sales Hub and select the customer's deal.
This is helpful if their circumstances change or if you want to propose to a different lender.
Propose to another lender
Depending on the customer's circumstances and the finance type they have chosen, you may be able to alter their quote and propose to another lender.
While this could mean the finance type and terms change based on what the customer has input, it could also provide more lenders to choose from. You will be able to run through a breakdown of the quotes available.
You can also amend the finance terms to get a new quote. For example, you could increase the deposit amount or shorten the term.
You can also add the customer's part exchange and if it has any outstanding finance.
Update circumstances
You may find you need to update the customer's circumstances. On this page, you can alter the customer's details of the proposed finance.
You can amend:

Title and name details

Current address

Current employer
How do I add finance to the deal?
It will look like this if a customer doesn't have finance on their deal.
You can add finance to the deal and access the finance affordability calculator.
- Based on the customer's requirements, choose
- Contract length
- Annual mileage
- What the customer wants to do at the end of the contract
- You should also include
- Price of the vehicle
- Customer deposit
- If they have a part exchange, and if it has any outstanding finance
- Calculate and choose the quote that the customer prefers.
- Read the compliance statement to the customer and tick the box to confirm they are happy to continue.
- Fill in the customer's circumstances with:
- Customers information
- Address history
- Employment history
- You will then be presented with the quotes based on the customer's financial status. The customer will need to choose the quote which they feel is best for them.
- If they choose a quote, the lender may require some specific information about the applicant to process the application:
- Specific information on their financial commitments
- UK Bank details where the monthly payment will be taken from
- The application is then summarised and should be submitted if the applicant is ready to proceed.
