How do I create an account as a private seller?

On a desktop/laptop

1. Head to the Autotrader website
2. Select 'Sign in' in the top right of the page
3. Enter your email address and select 'Continue'
4. We'll send a code to your email
5. Enter the code, then select 'Create account'

On the mobile website

1. Head to the Autotrader website
2. Press 'Menu' in the top left corner
3. Press 'Sign in or create an account' at the top
4. Enter your email address
5. We'll send a code to your email
6. Enter the code, then select 'Create account'

On the app

1. Press 'Account' in the bottom right
2. Scroll to the bottom and press 'Sign in'
3. Press 'Create an account' towards the bottom
4. Enter your email address and select 'Continue'
5. We'll send a code to your email
6. Enter the code, then select 'Create account'

Once you've created your account you can start to create your advert. We'll ask you for some extra details like your name and phone number for two-factor authentication.
