What is Zuto?
- Auto Trader works with Zuto (a finance company)
- They give customers financing options in order to buy a vehicle. Finance options through Zuto apply to any vehicle that qualifies.
- They do not finance cars with category markers (e.g. Cat S or N)
The vehicle must:
- Be priced between £1,500 and £200,000
- Be less than 12 years of age
- Have less than 125,000 mileage
But what about the car seller?
- The seller has nothing to do with Zuto. This only exists between the buyer and Zuto. If a buyer is interested in your vehicle and their application is approved, Zuto will pay you the full amount for your car directly via bank transfer. You won't be paid in instalments.
- If a buyer is interested in purchasing your vehicle on finance, Zuto will be in touch to guide you and the buyer through the process.
- Zuto will also require you to provide further information, such as proof of ownership through your V5C and your bank details, so that they can transfer the funds.
What details do Zuto ask the seller for?
- To complete the transaction, Zuto finance may ask the seller to provide an image of them standing next to the vehicle. They'll also ask for their driving license, V5C and bank details so they can transfer the funds. Zuto finance will ask for these documents to prove the owner of the vehicle is the one selling the vehicle.
- If the seller is still unsure, they can contact Zuto directly on 01625 619 944
