We create your advert title based on the make, model and derivative attached to your vehicle registration.
When you're creating your advert, make sure this looks right. If not, you can change it by selecting 'Edit vehicle details' underneath the title.
If this is wrong and your advert is live, you can edit the variant and the derivative only:
- Head over to your account to edit your advert
- Select 'Vehicles you're selling'
- Then 'Manage my adverts'
- Then edit the advert you wish to change
You won't be able to change the make and model once the advert is live. If this is incorrect, let us know as soon as possible so our Customer Service team can look at the problem.
Get in touch with us and include the following:
- Your advert ID. It's a 9-digit number you can find in your confirmation email or on your advert in your account.
- Your vehicle registration number
- A summary of what you believe to be correct/incorrect
- Any supporting documents (for example, V5C)
Good to know: The chassis for campervans and motorhomes is often built and registered first. This is the data which will show when you enter your registration number. You may prefer to advertise the vehicle under the make and model of the living space rather than the chassis. To do this, you'll need to change the make and model when creating the advert before paying for it.
