How to send an application manually
Select 'Send to lender' in the top right corner of an application.
- A quote will only show once any outstanding criteria have been met
- When a quote can't be shown because it needs more information, a collapsible section will appear next to the name of the lender in the 'Lenders' section of the application
- Selecting the text or the plus symbol on the right-hand side will open a list of links to the missing information
- When you choose a link, a window will appear where you can fill in the missing information
- Once the missing information has been filled in, the link will disappear from the list
Sending to lender
- Once an application meets the lender's criteria, you can send it. The 'Send' button will appear on the left-hand side of the 'Lenders' section, next to the lender's name. Once sent, the button will change to show 'sent'.
- In the Activity feed section of the application overview page, the sent status will display as 'pending verification' until a decision is made. The decision is not instant and may take a few moments to come through
- The finance application will return with approval, decline, filter or error
Check Status
- The lender automatically sends back status notifications and updates. You can manually check this with the lender by selecting 'Verify' next to 'Actions' in the 'Sent to Lender' section on the activity feed and by completing a 'check status'
- Selecting 'Check Status' in the Lender response section of the main application view will manually call the lender to check for a status update. The automatic checks for updates will also still run.
- The latest status will be updated in the Sent to lender section next to 'Status' and will show any information you need to act upon to continue the application
Approved response
- Once an application is 'conditionally approved' or 'fully approved' the status will change to approved in the activity feed.
- Selecting 'View' next to 'Response' in the Sent to lender section will show the information returned by the lender. You'll be able to see timestamps linked to decision timeframes.
- The information in the response is the same as in the lender's point of sale system and will include its lender proposal ID, status and approval information
- Sections within the response include;
- The max lend based on the customer
- The product/tier the customer is approved on, and any ranges that need to be adhered to within
- This, including term and balance to finance
- Quote details for the proposed figures
- Proposed vehicle outcome details
- Dropdown lists of any notifications or notes sent by the lender
Selecting the dropdown on the 'notifications' section will show all the timestamped events that the lender has gone through in the application journey. The notifications are listed from oldest to newest, top to bottom.
Selecting the dropdown in the 'quote' section will show the latest approval information based on the input finance figures.
Selecting the dropdown in the 'vehicle decision' section will show the latest decision based on the input vehicle. If the vehicle is rejected, any reasons they can provide will be shown here.
Selecting the dropdown on the 'notes' section will show the latest timestamped status changes and any transmitted notes from the lender about the application.
Lender approval information
- When a lender approval is created, you can see a full breakdown of what has been approved in the 'Approvals' section on the application or by selecting 'View' next to 'Approval' in the 'Sent to Lender' section of the activity feed.
Declined response
- If an application is declined, the status will change to declined in the activity feed
- Selecting the 'response' will show the information returned by the lender, with timestamps associated with decision timeframes
Updating the application
- In the 'send to lender' section, Go Car Credit will show as 'Approved' with a timestamp of the approval date.
- If the lender's status of the application is 'conditionally approved', you can amend and update; applicant, income and expenditure, finance and vehicle details against the existing application reference
- If the status of the application is 'fully approved', you can amend and update; the finance and vehicle details only against the existing application reference
- Any changes that fall outside either of these scenarios will result in a new application record and reference being created with the lender instead.
- You can manually create and update any further approvals in AutoConvert
- You can record a conversion in AutoConvert once the application has been paid out
Uploading Proofs and Sending Notes
Any proofs or information requested by the lender will be shown as a lender information request which can be found on the left side of the application.
- The name column will tell you what has been requested
- The provision status will tell you when this was requested
- You can send a note to the lender or the requested documents by using the option drop-down in the 'Action' column
- The requested document must have been uploaded to the 'documents' section of the application first, so when selecting a document to upload, it will use the documents saved there.
- Sending notes to the lender is an alternative way to communicate with the lender rather than phoning them or deviating to their point of sale. They will respond to notes, which can be visible in the notifications and notes section of the lender response in the activity feed.
Proceed step
- Once the application is 'fully approved', customer bank details are present in the application and the latest vehicle has been accepted, the next step is to proceed.
- Prompts will show if there are any reasons why the proceed button cannot be selected
Requesting E-Sign
Once proceed has been selected, it will submit the bank details to the lender and allow the e-sign to be requested.
Clicking request e-sign sends a notification to the lender and they will issue out the e-sign directly to the customer. There is no e-sign URL link displayed in the response which you may be used to with other integrations.
After E-sign completion
- Once the customer has completed the E-sign documents, the application will move to the lenders 'Customer Signed' status.
- Automation can notify when a consumer has completed their document signing.
- The automation trigger is 'lender update received'. The rule is 'update type equals ESignCompleted'. You can then run whatever action you wish, e.g create task
