I can't sign in via Facebook, what should I do?

We're removing the option to sign in via Facebook

If you normally use Facebook to sign in, you can still sign in using the email address registered to your Facebook account:

1. Enter the email address you use with Facebook into the 'Sign in by email' option
2. Autotrader will send a code to the email address
3. You'll then be able to sign in quickly and securely

If you're signing up as a new user, we'd recommend using one of the other methods to create an account or sign in.

How do I find the email address registered to my Facebook account?

1. Head to Facebook
2. Head to Settings and privacy
3. Select Settings
4. Select Account Centre
5. Select Profiles
6. Select personal details

You'll see the email address registered to your Facebook account. You can use this email address to sign in to Autotrader

I no longer have access to that email address. What should I do?

• If your email provider also can't give you access to the email, and there's nothing in your Autotrader account you need. You can always sign up for a new account using one of the other sign-in methods
• If you have a live advert, a deal or saved adverts. You can change your email address by chatting with our Customer Experience team. We're here Monday - Saturday, 9 am - 5 pm
