How do you work out the vehicle year shown on adverts?

The vehicle year shown on an advert is based on data from the DVLA from when the vehicle was first registered.

If you are selling an imported vehicle, the date is when it was first registered in the UK. You'll need to change the date of first registration when creating your advert. You can do this in the 'Edit vehicle details' section.

If your advert is already live, and you need to change the registration year, we will need to recreate it.
