How to send an application manually
Select 'Send to lender' in the top right corner of an application.
- A quote will only show once any outstanding criteria have been met
- If a quote can't be shown because it needs more information, a collapsible section will appear next to the name of the lender in the 'Lenders' section of the application
- Selecting the text or the plus symbol on the right-hand side will open a list of links to the missing information
- When you select a link, a window will appear where you can fill in the missing information
- Once the missing information has been filled in, the link will disappear from the list
Sending to lender
- Once an application meets the lender's criteria, you can send it. The 'Send' button will appear on the left-hand side of the 'Lenders' section, next to the lender's name. Once sent, the button will change to show 'sent'.
- Payments shown are calculated based on the rate selected during the application.
- For PCP (Personal Contract Purchase), you'll need to select the 'Get quote' on the left. This will get the relevant quote with balloon payment against that tier before you're able to select 'Send'
- Tiers can have rates input for illustration purposes, but a rate can't be submitted based on the integration configuration
- In the Activity feed section of the application overview page, the sent status will display as 'pending verification' until a decision is made. The decision isn't instant and may take a few moments to come through
- The finance application will return with approval, decline, filter or error
Approved response
- Once an application is approved, the status will change to approved in the activity feed
- Selecting 'View' next to 'Response' in the Sent to lender section will show the information returned by the lender. You'll be able to see timestamps linked to decision timeframes.
- The approval information and conditions are recorded here
Lender approval information
- When a lender approval is created, you can see a full breakdown of what has been approved in the 'Approvals' section on the application or by selecting 'View' next to 'Approval' in the 'Sent to Lender' section of the activity feed.
- You can only manually edit the approval via the 'Approvals' section.
Eligibility Accepted
-
If you propose an application for a HP (Hire Purchase) with no vehicle, then the customer could be returned with an 'Eligibility Accepted' status. This means that the customer is approved but subject to vehicle approval, which you will need to add via performing an update of the application.
Known to Zopa with different details
-
If the customer has previously had an application sent to Zopa, then Zopa will have a record of the customer's details. If any of the core details stored differ, then Zopa will flag this application as 'Known to Zopa with different details'.
- If this is the case, you must check you have the correct application details and then contact Zopa to advise of the correct information.
- Once the lender has updated its records, you'll need to submit a new application by navigating to the 'send to lender' modal and selecting 'Send'. This will generate a new application reference and allow you to proceed.
Declined response
- If an application is declined, the status will change to declined in the activity feed
- Selecting the 'response' will show the information returned by the lender with timestamps linked to decision timeframes.
Accessing E-sign documents
- In the lender approval response, there are links to access the E-sign
- Selecting 'Open e-sign' will open the e-sign in a new internet browser tab if the customer is with you
- If the customer is not with you, select 'Copy link'. This will copy the URL to the e-sign to your clipboard and you'll be able to send it to the customer
- The e-sign page will show the approval information and the next steps the customer must take to proceed
Updating the application
- In the 'send to lender' section, Zopa will show as 'approved' with a timestamp of the approval date.
- If you change customer bank details, vehicle or finance figure information, selecting update will send through the revised application information and update the existing application reference. Any changes to personal information will show a 'send' button, which will send a whole new application through, duplicating it.
- You can manually create and update any further approvals in AutoConvert
- You can record a conversion in AutoConvert once the application has been paid out
