What does the stop-drive action mean?
You should check whether your vehicle is affected. If it is:
- You must fix any outstanding recalls before selling your vehicle
- If you have an advert with us and your vehicle hasn't been fixed yet, you must delete your advert and contact us for a refund.
- These vehicles are unsafe and must not be driven or sold until repaired
How are Autotrader helping to keep consumers safe?
If you're searching for the above models, you'll find a message on the advert page. This alerts you to read more about the safety recall and take necessary precautions:
If a vehicle is advertised on the website, it doesn't necessarily mean it's unsafe. But you should check with the seller before purchasing to make sure that it's been repaired.
