What does the stop-drive action mean?
You should check whether your vehicle is affected. If it is:
- You must fix any outstanding recalls before selling your vehicle
- If you have an advert with us and your vehicle hasn't been fixed yet, you must delete your advert and contact us for a refund.
- These vehicles are unsafe and must not be driven or sold until repaired
How are Autotrader helping to keep consumers safe?
If you're searching for the above models, you may find a message on the advert page. This alerts you to read more about the safety recall and take necessary precautions.
If a vehicle is advertised on the website, it doesn't necessarily mean it's unsafe. But you should check with the seller before purchasing to make sure that it's been repaired.
