A 'payment reversal' means that your payment didn't fully complete.
In the case of a reversal, you might not see a refund credit on your statement. You may instead see the original authorisation drop off your statement entirely after a few days. There will be no payment, and no refund.
You can provide your bank with a System Trace Audit Number (STAN) to confirm this for you.
