Automation can read an inbound SMS's body text and respond with an Action. This can be an email, text, task etc. This is useful during closed hours to acknowledge receipt immediately.
Once you log into AutoConvert:
- Head to 'Settings' on the left hand side
- Then 'Automation'
- Within here select 'Configure'
- In 'Configure', select the ‘SMS Received’ trigger in the drop down menu under 'Trigger to kick off the automation'
- Go to ‘Automation rules’ and select ‘SMS Message’ from the dropdown. Make sure you select 'In'.
- Add words or characters that users might use to response back in the box below. This free type.
- Then select '+ Add'
- Then select 'Save changes'
Set up automated actions by going to the 'Actions' section.
Once set up, make sure automated action is enabled and you select ‘Save changes’.
