How do I add a vehicle to an application in AutoConvert?

1. Select 'Applications' from the left-hand menu
2. Select the application you need to add the vehicle to
3. On the application summary screen, locate the 'Vehicles' section
4. Select 'Add'

Fill out all the relevant information in the 'Finance details' section, then move on to the 'Lookup' section.

There are three different ways to add a vehicle to an application:

1. VRM lookup
2. Manufacturer/model lookup
3. Manually

Good to know: VRM lookup is the most common way to search, as this will populate all the information about the vehicle automatically.

VRM lookup

To perform a VRM lookup:

1. Type the vehicle's registration into the 'Registration' box
2. Select 'Look up'

This will return all the vehicle information. Extra details can be added, such as:

• Mileage
• Retail value
• Stock number
• Glasses code

Error performing VRM lookup

If you get any of the below errors, please use the manufacturer/model lookup method instead:

• ‘An error occurred finding vehicle, please try again or contact support’
• ‘Note: the CapCode for this VRM could not be determined by the provider - please use our manufacturer/model lookup to find a suitable cap code for this vehicle if required’

Manufacturer/model lookup

To input the vehicle this way:

1. Select ‘Manufacturer/model lookup’.
2. Using the drop-down, select the information for each of the categories in this order: Manufacturer, Model, Derivative
3. You'll need to enter any other relevant information
4. Once completed, select 'Submit'

Enter manually

To enter the vehicle information manually:

1. Select 'Enter manually'
2. Enter all the information in the pop-up
3. Select 'Submit'
