How do I whitelist an IP address?

By default, any IP address can access AutoConvert. However, if you add a whitelist, this will limit who can access your system to only those approved IP addresses.

What you’ll need to have:

• Your users need to access the system via a fixed IP address
• If you have sub-accounts, this needs to be done at the master level
• Your account will need to have the 'Can manage IP address whitelist' and 'Can access system without IP address check' permissions

How to add a role to the whitelist without an IP check:

1. Head to ‘Settings’
2. Then choose ‘Account’
3. Then select ‘Custom roles’
4. Select ‘Update’ next to the role you would like to edit
5. Head to the ‘Allow permissions’ area and enable the switch ‘Can access system without IP address check’
6. All users with that custom role will be able to log into the system from any location

How to add an IP to the whitelist:

1. Head to ‘Settings’
2. Then choose ‘Account’
3. Then select 'IP address whitelist'
4. Select 'Add' in the top right
5. Add the IP address you want to whitelist into the 'Address' field
6. Add a description for the IP address
7. Select 'Save changes'
8. All users will be able to log into the system if they're connecting via that IP address
9. You can add more IP addresses if you have multiple locations
