The first thing to do is test the protected number on your advert.
You'll need to do this from a different phone number to the one connected to your advert. You can see which phone number is connected by:
- Head to your account and the 'manage my adverts' section
- Select the advert you want to test the number for
- You'll find the phone number in the 'seller contact details' section at the bottom of the page
Good to know: If you call from the same number connected to your advert, you'll hear an engaged tone.
