When using Auto Trader, you may see the error message “We've hit a misfire, sorry about that.”
There are a few reasons why this might be happening:
- Too many cache and cookies on your browser: Clear these in your browser settings.
- Going back whilst a webpage is loading: Always wait until the page is fully loaded before you try to go back.
- Your session timed out: To fix this, you need to sign in again. Refresh the page and sign back in.
